NOWZ steps into cafe work for a one-day event ahead of new release

Cube Entertainment’s rookie boy group NOWZ has taken on the role of a one-day cafe staffer, making a playful daytime appearance ahead of their new music release. NOWZ, consisting of Hyunbin, Yun, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyoon, opened a pop-up cafe on the first floor of Cube Entertainment’s Cube Story building on the 14th to host a student-support event. Before opening, a crowd gathered as the members personally took drink and dessert orders from visitors and served them, creating meaningful moments.

The group also spent time with attendees by taking photos and gifting fortune cookies containing handwritten messages from the members, as well as baseball-shaped candies, to cheer on the examinees. This year’s event attracted more visitors than last year, signaling strong interest.

Separately, NOWZ shared the second batch of individual and group concept photos for their upcoming third single, Play Ball, via their official channels. The group photos displayed a noticeably more mature vibe that drew attention.

The new single Play Ball is set to drop four months after their debut mini-album IGNITION, showcasing NOWZ’s fresh direction. They will release Play Ball on the 26th at 6 PM on major music platforms.
