HYBE, BTS and NewJeans Make a Dual Comeback, With a 2-Trillion-Won Revenue Boost

HYBE is set for BTS and NewJeans to make a simultaneous comeback, signaling a potential 2 trillion won revenue boost. With all NewJeans members returning after a contract dispute, HYBE is once again drawing market attention.

Analysts expect HYBE to post record-high earnings next year, fueled by BTS’s full comeback. Hanwha Investment & Securities projects that BTS’s world tour could contribute over 1 trillion won in concert revenue and more than 800 billion won in MD sales, bringing the total to around 1.8 trillion won. NewJeans is projected to contribute around 60–70 billion won in operating profit; applying the industry-average operating margin of 15%, that implies roughly 400–500 billion won in revenue from NewJeans.

HYBE’s annual revenue last year was about 2.2556 trillion won, nearly reaching that level again on the back of this momentum. However, the legal risk surrounding Bang Si-hyuk remains a factor, with police investigations progressing and a possible prosecutor referral. Investors also weigh whether the timing of a listing could be affected by these developments.
