Former Lovelyz members Jiae and Jisoo candidly revealed how they conducted secret relationships during their activities and the dormitory curfew. On YouTube channel Geunbon Channel, Shindong of Super Junior hosts Shindong’s Dongdong Pocha, and a video titled “Lovelyz Jiae and Jisoo’s Love Story” was posted.
In the video, Jiae and Jisoo described the dating rules they kept and how dorm life was managed among the members. Jiae said, “Until debut, I lived with our manager, but after that we started living by ourselves.” They also said that the group had strict rules, with a 12 o’clock curfew, and after 12, the group chat would go crazy. Jiae admitted she had dating experience and said she shared much with her roommate. She described their secret dating setup: “The door in front of us was like the room boundary,” and “we always came back before 12.” She added, “Then we would go out around 3 or 4 a.m. and return around 7 a.m.”
Jisoo said she also went out like her sister, and that back then they met in places like Dongdaemun around 2 a.m. and walked until 7 a.m. because they had little money and kept things to themselves. Jiae responded that the anecdotes were “wholesome and naïve.” Jisoo added that her longest dating period probably didn’t reach three years.
Additionally, Jisoo shared updates on her acting work and her transformation into a game-broadcasting BJ; she noted that Lovelyz remains the highest for her, though not because it is greater than others, but because other things are lower. Last year she opened a channel named “Tteji-su” and is pursuing a new path as a game-BJ.
