A Jazz-infused reinterpretation of SM artists’ hits ahead of Pink Note

SM Classics’ SM Jazz Trio is reimagining idol music in a jazz setting. SM Entertainment announced that SM Jazz Trio will release Only One (Jazz Ver.) on major streaming platforms at 6 p.m. on the 3rd. The track serves as a pre-release for the project album Pink Note, slated for release on November 10. Pink Note reinterprets 10 SM artists’ hits as jazz pieces.

Only One (Jazz Ver.) and its music video will be released simultaneously on the SMTOWN YouTube channel at 6 p.m. on the 3rd. The trio will unveil highlight medleys of the tracks sequentially from the 3rd to the 7th, followed by a guerrilla performance on the 8th. Further details are expected to be shared via SM Classics’ social media accounts.

The SM Jazz Trio comprises pianist Johann Kim, bassist Ho-gyu Hwang, and drummer Kim Jong-gook. They debuted in August 2024 with the single Supernova (Jazz Ver.), and have since released 11:11 (Jazz Ver.) and the original track Prometheus.
