CRAVITY Stands at a Pivotal Crossroads in Its Rebranding

The group pivots around the Dare to Crave era with an upcoming Epilogue album, signaling a move to solidify a renewed identity.

CRAVITY has long been pegged as a group that will break through, but it has yet to deliver a decisive turning point. As a strategic pivot, the team has embraced a rebranding anchored around their June release of a regular second album, Dare to Crave, with an Epilogue set for November 10. While the team hasn’t posted any dramatic outward results yet, the next step remains crucial.

The rebranding goes beyond mere aesthetics: the group’s name meaning and logo were updated ahead of Dare to Crave, redefining the brand around a grape-inspired motif that emphasizes depth of flavor. The new name fuses craving and gravity, signaling a stronger, more cohesive identity rather than a simple change in image.

The album itself showcases growth, with 12 tracks co-written and co-composed by all nine members, including the title track set in a bold new direction. The collective involvement marks a meaningful shift, and the group adds a new dimension by introducing units under the same banner to highlight individual personalities and expand their range.

Musically, the work reveals a clear evolution, though early metrics suggest the progress isn’t radically different from prior releases. The set opened with roughly a quarter of a million copies sold in the first week, slightly below the roughly 270,000 copies logged by the three preceding releases. Cravity’s decision to rebrand is not a panacea and may require time to crystallize, but the Epilogue project aims to push the narrative forward.

The group is slated to release Dare to Crave: Epilogue on November 10, with comeback schedules and teaser content to be rolled out in the meantime.
