Malaysia trip includes bilateral talks on security, trade, and regional forums

President Lee Jae-myung is departing for Malaysia this morning to attend the ASEAN summit. Upon arrival, he is scheduled to host a dinner with overseas Koreans, and the next day he will hold a talks with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet to discuss joint responses to scam crimes and other bilateral issues. He is also set to participate in the ASEAN+3 summit, where he will meet Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takai, who took office on the 21st. Finally, he is expected to discuss bilateral cooperation on trade and defense with Malaysia, the host country this year.
