Debut EP PAPARAZZI ARRIVE Climbs Billboard Charts Globally
A2O MAY’s new EP PAPARAZZI ARRIVE entered the US Billboard charts just about a month after its release. The group, consisting of CHENYU, SHIJIE, QUCHANG, MICHE, and KAT, logged No. 8 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists and No. 40 on Top Album Sales on the November 22 chart. Notably, the Emerging Artists chart had climbed to a higher position two weeks after ranking No. 16 on November 8.
The chart is based on aggregated data and ranks the fastest-growing new artists in the United States. On the World Albums chart, they landed around No. 11.
A2O MAY achieved solid results across Billboard’s core metrics, including album sales, track downloads, streaming, radio airplay, and social media growth indicators. This framework aligns with the same measuring system as the Hot 100, potentially paving the way for a future entry on the main chart.
PAPARAZZI ARRIVE has also shown strength on major platforms, including a tie for No. 1 with Justin Bieber on Mediabase Top 40 Airplay’s “Most Added” list, and top positions on QQ Music’s Hot Song Chart and in the Top 3 on the New Song charts. Meanwhile, A2O MAY will host their debut fan meeting in Shanghai on November 22, MAYnia Arrive.
