On YouTube, the new commerce-leaning variety show Get It surpassed 1 million views four days after its premiere. Get It visits celebrities’ private spaces to purchase their treasured items at ultra-discounted prices, blending commerce with entertainment. Hosted by singer Hwangbo and broadcaster Punja, the program uses a storytelling approach to reveal celebrities’ lifestyles, differentiating it from traditional product-intro content.
In the first episode, singer Sandara Park appeared as a guest, showing off personal prized items such as luxury handbags, sunglasses, and limited-edition sneakers. Her behind-the-scenes stories about items she purchased, along with the hosts’ bold yet stylish negotiations, heightened viewers’ enjoyment. The show will sequentially release episodes featuring Dayoung of WJSN and Bryan.
Get It is the first program launched by total marketing company Cha-i Communications, which has introduced a new YouTube IP channel franchise.
