Amid reports that NewJeans members Minji, Danielle, Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein had signaled their intent to return to their former agency Adore, it was confirmed that the member who did not attend the earlier meeting with Adore’s CEO was Hanni. Hanni was overseas at the time of the November 11 meeting with Adore CEO Do-kyung Lee and the group and guardians, so she did not attend.

The agency said it plans to pursue individual interviews with Hanni as soon as she returns home. Earlier, on the 12th, the agency stated that Haerin and Hyein had expressed their intention to return.

Subsequently, Minji, Daniel, and Hanni also voiced their intention to return. Through their legal representative, HanIl Law, the three said they decided to return to Adore after careful discussions, adding that one member was currently in Antarctica, which delayed communication, and that Adore had not yet replied. However, the three announced their positions individually before talks with Adore had been finalized. Adore commented that it is verifying the intentions and coordinating individual interview schedules.
