Spotify milestone underscores the group’s rising international popularity
(G)I-DLE’s hit song Queencard has recently surpassed 400 million cumulative streams on Spotify, marking the group’s first 400 million streams on the platform and underscoring their global commercial appeal. The milestone signals the group’s growing global breakout.
The music video also reached 400 million views in June and, as of the first week of November, ranked 21st on YouTube Korea’s weekly charts, demonstrating continued popularity.
In addition to Queencard, TOMBOY and Nxde have surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify, while Oh My God, LATATA, LION, Han (One), Super Lady, Fire, and Wife have reached 100 million streams, further strengthening their status as a global top girl group.
The group has continued their chart-topping run with their eighth mini-album We Are, achieving four consecutive million-seller releases, and their Japanese EP i-dle, released last October, topped the Oricon daily chart and led Apple Music Japan’s J-Pop Album Chart as well as QQ Music’s daily and weekly bestseller charts, marking notable overseas chart success.
