The group clinches KGMA’s Grand Record and promises a comeback with new music

Stray Kids were awarded the Grand Record, one of KGMA’s top honors, at the 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards. On stage to receive the prize, they thanked Stay and noted they were grateful for a KGMA that could recognize so many awards. They added that they had faced many first-time moments this year and that they would respond with a comeback and new album. The group also announced they would release their next album, SKZ IT TAPE, on the 21st, with double title tracks.

This year, Stray Kids have established themselves as a leading global act with standout achievements. Their August-released full album Karma has continued to enjoy sustained popularity on the Billboard 200, marking the group’s seventh No. 1 on that chart and earning Gold certification from SNEP. At KGMA, they followed up previously announced Best-Selling Album, Best Music 10, and the Top Popularity Award with a Grand Record, rounding out a five-category haul.

KGMA is a K-pop festival organized by major Korean media, spotlighting artists and works that received strong domestic and international fan love over the year. The event is broadcast to a global audience, including TikTok Live, with Japan’s Hulu providing real-time coverage as well.
