A sports documentary tracing Yun Deok-no’s path toward a world title.
Chasing Korea’s boxing hope Yun Deok-no, the film “Someone’s Dream” has confirmed its release date for November 27 and unveiled a teaser poster. The project chronicles Yun Deok-no’s journey toward a world title in boxing.
The teaser poster features bold typography stating “Korean professional boxing’s sole hope reignited after 37 years” and captures a tense moment as two fighters exchange punches.
Rather than glamorous spotlight, the poster embodies a sober realism that reflects the documentary’s authenticity and heightens anticipation for Yun Deok-no’s solitary journey toward the world champion title.
“Someone’s Dream” follows Yun Deok-no, who rose to become the OPBF and WBO Asia-Pacific Super Middleweight Champion and was ranked 14th in the world as of May 2025.
Yun Deok-no recalls hearing from a senior when he was around twenty that “If I realize my dream, I will become someone else’s dream.” That line became his lifelong motto and the starting point for the director’s portrayal of the story.
The director’s sincere perspective aims to convey the message that a generation’s dream can become the spark for the next generation, through the film’s emotional and authentic storytelling.
Set to open in theaters on November 27, the documentary chronicles those who persevere toward their dreams despite the harsh realities surrounding Korean boxing.
