Reportedly paid in full in cash for a luxury Uni Village unit with views of the Han River and Namsan
IVE member Jang Won-young has purchased a luxury villa in Hannam-dong for 13.7 billion won, with sources indicating the deal was completed in cash. The villa is located in Uni Village, a prestigious complex in Yongsan District, and Won-young reportedly completed the ownership transfer last month after buying the property in March.
According to real estate industry insiders and the Supreme Court registry, the purchase appears to have been financed entirely with cash, as there are no mortgages listed on the title deed. The seller is said to be a former chief executive of Daelim Trading.
The villa is among the most upscale units in Uni Village. It overlooks the Han River and Namsan, and the location is described as highly exclusive with only 15 units. The property features 24-hour security and a private elevator, contributing to strong privacy.
The unit is also noted for its celebrity provenance, with actress Kim Tae-hee reportedly having lived there prior to her marriage.
Won-young, born in 2004, has gained immense popularity since debuting as the center of IVE and has attracted attention as a brand ambassador for various campaigns.
IVEs recent solo concert at KSPO Dome sold out for three consecutive days, underscoring the group’s status as a leading K-pop act.
