Do Kyung-soo, a singer-actor starring in a Disney+ original series, shared his lighthearted impression of taking on his first villain role at a Disney+ Original Preview 2025 event held in Hong Kong. The preview showcased Korean titles planned for release later this year.

On stage, Ji Chang-wook and Do Kyung-soo introduced Piece City, which centers on a crime plot involving a villain. Do Kyung-soo said he prepared by staying faithful to the script, consulting with the director, and paying attention to costumes, noting that he had to rely on imagination for aspects he couldn’t personally experience.

Meanwhile, it was announced that Made in Korea, directed by Woo Min-ho and produced by Jung Woo-sung, will premiere on December 24, with Season 2 already in development. The project marks Woo Min-ho’s and Jung Woo-sung’s first foray into OTT. The story centers on Baek Ki-tae, a deputy chief of the KCIA, and prosecutor Jang Geon-yeong, whose intense confrontation unfolds as they vie for power in 1970s Korea. Director Woo Min-ho described the era as turbulent and said he aimed to reveal the characters’ distorted desires and beliefs, noting that action sequences not in the script were included to heighten the drama.
