He selected V as the final winner, noting that “V looks great even to men; photos V is overwhelmingly the one men bring to cosmetic consultations,” calling him the ultimate Wannabe star that men want to resemble.

V is not only a leading visual for K-pop but also widely recognized as the world’s most handsome man, earning him the nickname “the collector of handsome titles.” Google Trends shows that over the last decade, the topic “The Most Handsome Man” has consistently ranked first, underscoring V’s global recognition for his looks.

Many plastic surgeons have praised V’s face as close to the golden ratio, with an oval, egg-shaped face that smoothly transitions from forehead to chin, and an ideal V-line. The distance between the eyes and the gaps between the nose and mouth are said to reflect golden ratios, and the facial features are noted to harmonize Western and Eastern aesthetics, with an ideal E-line when viewed in profile.

Brazilian plastic surgeon Rafael Porta also complimented V on his symmetry and perfect golden ratio, saying his face is “stunning.” European broadcasters have also focused attention on his appearance as a standard of beauty.

In 2017, TC Candler ranked V No. 1 on the list of the world’s most handsome faces, describing him as possessing a blend of Western beauty and Eastern mystique that challenges stereotypes about Western masculine beauty.
