Hoshi releases his first English-language solo track with an accompanying music video

Seventeen’s Hoshi has released his first English-language solo track, Fallen Superstar, in a surprise drop, along with the music video at 6 PM today. The release marks his first foray into an English-language solo effort since his debut. According to Pledis Entertainment, Hybe Music Group’s label, Fallen Superstar tells the story of two wounded individuals finding warmth by sticking together through their deficits.

The track’s writing and composition were handled by Andrew Goldstein, a songwriter who has worked with global artists such as Maroon 5 and Katy Perry, with additional input from JXDN. The team behind the song underscores a high-profile production pedigree. In addition to this solo release, Hoshi has expanded his musical range with projects like Damage (HOSHI Solo) featuring Timbaland, as well as I Want You Back and STAY, among others. Take note that his prior solo track, TAKE A SHOT, previously climbed into the top ranks on the iTunes Worldwide Song chart.
