Bugonia: Korean Original Poster as Striking as the Film

Hotly anticipated Bugonia has unveiled a special poster for Korean audiences. The film, which opened on the 5th, is directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and is a remake of the 2003 Korean film Take Back the Earth. It is produced by Element Pictures, Square Peg, and CJ ENM, and distributed by CJ ENM.

The Korean-original poster captures a montage of the characters, with a visual that looks as if honey and blood are running down, signaling the film’s most iconic symbols. Michelle (Emma Stone) with a fierce gaze dominates the image, followed by scenes of Michelle before the abduction, and Teddy (Jesse Plemons) and Don (Aidan Delvis), as well as town sheriff Casey (Stavros Halkias) arriving to heighten the tension.

The striking imagery conveys the film’s impact, fueling a sense of urgency for repeat viewings among those who have already seen it and anticipation among prospective audiences. Bugonia is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
