TWICE’s Jeongyeon and Tzuyu Reveal a Full-Family Photo Shoot With Their Four Dogs

Twice members share more than group loyalty, introducing their beloved pets and the stories behind them.

It was like a festive day when a portion of Twice’s “family” gathered in one place, with Jeongyeon and her dogs Peanut and Yuki, and Tzuyu with Kaya and Butter. The four dogs, with different fur tones, eye colors, and temperaments, ran around the studio, each in their own way. Kaya and Butter stayed joined at the hip, while Peanut explored with a curious gaze and Yuki, the largest, looked around cautiously. Tzuyu noted Kaya and Butter may be ISFP and INTP, and both tend to hide treats before pulling them out later.

The six dogs come from different places; Peanut originated from the grandfather of a neighbor who raised him, while Yuki was rescued in 2021 from among three stray siblings with severe skin disease, leading to adoption by Jeongyeon and her sister. Kaya and Butter were adopted by Tzuyu after seeing them online, and their initial fears—like hiding under sofas and trembling when first brought to the vet—give way to stronger bonds as time passed.

As the dogs grew more comfortable, photos captured their evolving dynamics. Kaya and Butter’s quiet, close companionship contrasted with their sisterly bond with the humans, while the owners reflected on how love and care transformed fear into affection. “I tell my dogs my name often,” one of the stars explains, hoping they would remember it, and perhaps one day help them find her when needed. The pair also shared thoughts on the broader idea of sharing life with animals and how it can be a warm, transformative experience.
