Seven reaches 120 weeks on Global Song Chart; GOLDEN reaches 104 weeks on Global Album Chart

BTS’s Jungkook continues his record-breaking run on Spotify, underscoring his global popularity. His 2023 solo debut single “Seven” ranked No. 75 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global for the week of October 24–30, climbing five spots from the previous week.

The single “Seven” now marks the first and longest-charting song by an Asian solo artist on Spotify, remaining on the Global Song Chart for 120 consecutive weeks. Jungkook’s solo album “GOLDEN” is also noted as the first and longest-charting album by an Asian solo artist, staying on the Global Album Chart for 104 weeks.

Recently, “Seven” surpassed 2.6 billion streams on Spotify — the first song by an Asian artist ever to reach this milestone, accomplishing the feat in 829 days, the fastest for a debut song worldwide. Meanwhile, “GOLDEN” has accumulated over 6.2 billion total streams, becoming the first Asian solo album to do so on Spotify.
