Based on a popular webtoon, Bliss Media’s TVING series captivates audiences worldwide.
Spirit Fingers, a TVING adaptation of a beloved webtoon, is making an early, powerful impression. On its debut, Bliss Media released character stills for the series, which follows Song Wo-yeon, a shy, introverted high school student who finds her voice through the Spirit Fingers art club. The show topped the Korean drama category on Remino, a Japanese platform, signaling a strong global reaction even before the first episode airs. It premiered on TVING on October 29, inviting viewers into a colorful, healing coming-of-age romance.
Based on a webtoon that has already earned rave ratings in China, Taiwan, and Thailand (9.9+), the drama translates that warmth to a global audience, offering a comforting connection as viewers follow the characters’ growth. The production team has emphasized that preserving the emotional arc and the distinctive color palette of the original was a priority, aiming to amplify that warmth in forthcoming episodes. Park Ji-hoo, who plays Wo-yeon, delicately renders the transformation from a reserved, anxious girl to someone who discovers her own color.
With high expectations set by the source material, the series intends to deliver the same sense of comfort and resonance that fans fell in love with in the webtoon. The show is slated to stream two episodes exclusively on TVING starting at 4:00 p.m. on the 5th.
