ILLIT to perform the Season 2 opening for the anime Princess Time of Torture, set to air in January 2026.

ILLIT has been selected as the opening theme singer for the Japanese anime Princess Time of Torture Season 2, which is scheduled to air on TV channels and OTT platforms in January 2026. The agency BILLIP LAB announced that ILLIT members YunA, Minju, Moca, Wonhee, and Iroha will perform the opening theme for the series. This marks a major step for the group in the Japanese market.

ILLIT is currently enjoying strong popularity in Japan, thanks to their bright energy, clear voice, and trendy sensibility. Their prior work has helped boost recognition in the country, notably with Almond Chocolate, which surpassed 50 million streams and earned Gold certification from the Japan Recording Industry Association.

Additionally, their Japanese debut title track Toki Yo Tomare was selected as the main OST for a local program, and their song Topping has been used in a Lacoste Japan advertisement.

ILLIT is set to release the single NOT CUTE ANYMORE on the 24th.
