K-pop group Ark’s new single captures the struggles and resilience of young adults through digital metaphors

On November 3, 2025, Ark released the full tracks from their second single album CTRL+ALT+SKIID, including the title track SKIID, and unveiled its accompanying music video. The release follows their July mini album HOPE, which was praised for its oriental-pop aesthetics and marked a shift to a rougher, more rebellious mood.

Ark’s CTRL+ALT+SKIID centers on the daily grind of youth, capturing the feelings that arise when facing tests, competition, and failure, while conveying a sense of recovery and a cheeky defiance. The title track SKIID and the B-side WoW (Way of Winning) (with Moon Sua x Siyoon) show collaboration from Moon Sua and Siyoon of Billlie, who contributed to both vocals and lyrics.

The title track SKIID, built around a 4/4 beat with a distinctive snare, presents the realities and attitudes of teens who chronicle their present in a personal language.
