ZEROBASEONE, a group that debuted on Mnet’s Boys Planet in 2023, is sweeping across Japan. In contrast, Wanna One—who debuted in 2017 through Produce 101 Season 2—reportedly earned about 20 billion won during roughly 18 months of activity, highlighting interest in the revenue potential for another act formed via Mnet survival.
ZEROBASEONE held the HERE&NOW World Tour at Saitama Super Arena on the 29th and 30th, drawing about 54,000 attendees over two nights. They performed a setlist that condensed their debut-era tracks such as CRUSH, GOOD SO BAD, BLUE, and ICONIK, and sang many songs in Japanese versions to connect with local fans. The tour also featured unit stages that offered a different魅力 beyond their existing songs.
The group released a Japanese EP ICONIK on the night of their show, and the title track ICONIK (Japanese ver.) rose to No. 2 on the Oricon Daily Album Ranking, further signaling strong local popularity. The track also topped Japan iTunes K-Pop Top Songs and reached No. 10 on Line Music Real-Time Top 100, underscoring the expansion of their popularity in Japan.
