The Favorite and Most Immersive Scene According to the OST Composer of The Chef of the Tyrant

In tvN’s drama The Chef of the Tyrant, music director Jeon Chang-yeop reveals his favorite scene is the cliff confrontation between Yeon Ji-yeong and Yi Heon in Episode 1. He explains that moment stands out for its combination of performance and visuals, where the music underscores the tension of the scene. He also notes that he personally cherished a different moment, the scene where Yeon Ji-yeong faces her fate during a pivotal cliff-side standoff in that early episode.

He identifies another unforgettable and immersive moment in the late-episode climax of Episode 12. In this sequence, Yeon Ji-yeong is stabbed, and the Mangunrok activates, causing her to float into the air before vanishing. This demonstrates how the score is crafted to deepen emotional resonance as the story unfolds across multiple episodes.
