aespa x Catch! Tinip ing collab launches new merchandise line
SAMG Entertainment has released a collaborative merchandise line called EspaPing, blending aespa with the popular animationCatch! Tinip ing. The project features aespa members appearing as new characters within the Tinip ing universe, dubbed EspaPing. The collaboration goods officially launch on October 31, featuring items that reflect the members’ personalities, including figurines, accessories, and daily-use products.
In the prior pre-sale in August, products such as 25cm dolls, random figurines, figurine keychains, and mirror pouch keychains were introduced, and the official release adds five more designs: 10cm surprise keychains, tumbler deco sets, metal badge sets, and sticker sets. The EspaPing products are available on SAMG Entertainment’s Emotion Castle Store, SMTOWN & STORE, Lotte Mart’s online and offline channels, and Line Friends Square stores in Myeongdong and Insadong. From November 7, the collection will also be sold at ArtBox, with a November 11 rollout at Gwangya@Seoul.
The collaboration has drawn global attention, boosted by aespa and Tinip ing’s collaborative short-form content “Dirty Work,” which helped the pair amass over 35 million views across social media. The blend of Tinip ing’s cute world with aespa’s bold visuals has resonated with fans both in Korea and internationally. A SAMG Entertainment representative stated that the collaboration has helped expand the “Catch! Tinip ing” fanbase to include MZ generations as well as K-pop and K-content fans, and that the project could set a new cultural trend for character IP across generations.
