Despite his military service, the star gears up for ELSE with planned content reveals and pre-orders.

Cha Eun-woo remains active even after enlisting in the army, preparing a flurry of content ahead of his mini album ELSE’s release on November 21. On October 30, he posted a scheduler image for ELSE on his official social media, kicking off the countdown to the release. The image conveys a moody, dreamlike atmosphere with dynamic wave graphics signaling a variety of upcoming content.

According to the scheduler, a preview of the physical album will be unveiled on October 31, and pre-orders will begin on November 3 at 2:00 PM local time. In addition, five enigmatic content pieces will be released before and around the album’s launch, with some marked by question marks to spark curiosity. The schedule also includes two character stories, a tracklist, two concept photos, and a teaser for the title track’s music video to give fans hints about the new songs.

On November 21, the full album and the music video for the title track will be released, with a performance video for the title track to follow on November 24 to heighten the audiovisual experience. Since July, when he joined the army band, Cha Eun-woo has continued to pursue his work with no gaps via ELSE. His previous mini-album ENTITY, released in February last year, topped iTunes album charts across 21 regions and led the worldwide chart, with sales exceeding 210,000 copies. He then traveled across Asia and South America on the “2024 Just One 10 Minute [Mystery Elevator]” fan concert tour and wrapped up the 2025 solo fan meeting THE ROYAL in Tokyo and Seoul, actively engaging with global fans before his enlistment.

As a solo artist expanding his musical universe, Cha Eun-woo’s ELSE is set to drop on November 21 at 1 PM local time on all major music platforms worldwide.
