Did you take it to the limit? Seo In-young and Ga-in, then Kim Dong-wan and Shinhwa speak out on feud rumors

Seo In-young discusses an old feud with Ga-in; Kim Dong-wan responds to the chatter

Fights have been frequent even among kin, but how much more so when business partners are involved? Rumors of feuds among celebrities have resurfaced. Recently, Seo In-young, a former Jewelry member, referenced a feud with Ga-in, a former Brown Eyed Girls member, during a live broadcast on her personal social media. When a fan asked how her relationship with Ga-in currently stands, she said, “We’re close now. Back then I wasn’t mature enough to act like a senior. I was also hurt. Since then we’ve resolved things and become close. Let’s not make this an issue anymore. I’ll address everything on YouTube if needed.” Seo In-young and Ga-in had previously appeared together on MBC’s Radio Star in 2016. At the time, Ga-in, though older, clashed with Seo In-young over Seo’s use of informal language toward Narsha, a fellow member, which sparked a feud. Narsha, despite being three years older than Seo In-young, reportedly had her age hidden at debut, leading to misunderstandings. Shinhwa member Kim Dong-wan posted a cryptic message on his personal SNS on the 14th, writing, “I hate seeing you appear on my feed. Hate me too. Please,” which drew attention and sparked speculation of a feud within Shinhwa. Kim Dong-wan quickly explained: “Sorry for the worry. Nothing serious, please don’t worry. I write too many lyrics for songs; many stories have grown inside me. They are all fictional. Please don’t misunderstand.” He added that he and the group—fans included—are dreaming of a 30th anniversary, and if such a miracle happens they will work toward it from their respective positions. He warned that distorting his earlier remarks about avoiding variety into an attack on the members would hurt the members and their families and fans.
